How we handle personal data.
This notice applies to information submitted through the Elixir Dinâmico website and to the limited technical data used to operate and protect it.

2. Information we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide, including your name, email address, organisation, type of enquiry and message. The form and its anti-spam controls may also process technical information such as your IP address, browser information and reCAPTCHA response.
Please do not submit clinical records, medical details or other sensitive personal data through the general contact form.
3. Why we use it
We use this information to respond to enquiries, manage prospective projects, research discussions, partnerships and service requests, protect the website and forms from misuse, and meet legal obligations where applicable.
The legal bases are our legitimate interests in operating the company and responding to relevant enquiries, steps requested before entering into a contract where applicable, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Service providers and transfers
We do not sell personal data or use contact-form information for advertising. Limited information is processed by service providers needed to operate the website and respond to enquiries. These currently include Netlify for website hosting, form handling, submission storage and notifications; Google Fonts for delivery of the website typeface; Google reCAPTCHA for spam and abuse prevention; and the email service used to receive and answer messages.
Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the transfer is subject to the safeguards made available by the provider, such as an adequacy framework or standard contractual clauses, as applicable.
5. Retention
General enquiries are normally retained for no longer than 12 months after the last substantive contact. Information may be kept longer where an enquiry develops into a contractual relationship, where required by law, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Form submissions stored in Netlify are reviewed and deleted regularly.
6. Cookies and local storage
We do not use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. Google reCAPTCHA may set the necessary _GRECAPTCHA cookie to assess abuse risk on the contact form. The website also uses browser local storage to remember your selected light or dark theme and language preference. These functions are used only to provide security or retain the preference you select.
7. Your rights
Subject to the conditions in data-protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados.
8. Updates
We may update this notice when the website, providers or processing activities change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
